Terrence McNally, the prolific playwright and librettist, will join hosts Michael Riedel, of the New York Post, and Susan Haskins, on the March 22 edition of PBS' popular "Theater Talk."
McNally scored a big hit this past fall with the musical The Fully Monty. He also wrote the books to Ragtime, and to Kander and Ebb's The Visit, which didn't make it to Broadway this season. McNally's many plays include the Tony winners, Master Class and Love! Valour! Compassion!, and the controversial Corpus Christi.
The show airs March 22 at midnight on Channel 13 in New York City. It will also air on Boston’s WGBH and on Cablevision’s Metro Arts Thirteen (check local listings for schedule).
"Theater Talk" is now in its fifth season. This year, the program will be seen on Thirteen/WNET, WGBH/Boston (PBS affiliate), CCIT in Hartford, and as part of MetroArts/Thirteen on Cablevision’s Metro channels.
