News That Time of the Year Opens at the York Dec. 7 The new musical revue That Time of the Year officially opens at the York Theatre Company Dec. 7. Previews for the limited engagement began Nov. 29.

Featuring a concept and lyrics by Laurence Holzman and Felicia Needleman, the revue highlights "the joys and anxieties of the holiday season," according to press notes. Directed and choreographed by Annette Jolles, the cast boasts Bridget Beirne, Kerri Jill Garbis, Erin Maguire, Jonathan Rayson and Nick Verina.

That Time of the Year celebrates both Christmas and Hanukkah with a score that features show tunes, rock, blues and jazz. Composers include Sanford Marc Cohen, Nicholas Levin, Donald Oliver, Kyle Rosen, Brad Ross, Mark Wherry and Wendy Wilf. The show will run through Dec. 24.

The creative team also features Annie Pasqua (orchestrator/musical director), James Morgan (set designer), Chris Robinson (lighting designer) and Terese Wadden (costume designer).

Performances are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evenings at 8 PM, Saturdays at 2:30 and 8 PM and Sundays at 2:30 and 7 PM. Tickets, priced $49, are available by calling (212) 935-5820.
