Classic Arts News The 5 Browns Stay Atop Billboard Classical Chart The debut album from the piano-playing siblings the 5 Browns remained at number one on the Billboard classical chart this week for the third straight week. Yo-Yo Ma's collection of film music by Ennio Morricone remained at number two.
Guitarist Sharon Isbin's CD of guitar concertos, recorded with the New York Philharmonic, was among the week's biggest gainers, moving back onto the chart at number 11 after dropping off last week. The soundtracks to the films Les Choristes and Master and Commander moved from nine to five and from 13 to ten, respectively.

The Grammy effect that propelled the New York Philharmonic's recording of John Adams' On the Transmigration of Souls to number six last week wore off a bit, but the CD stayed on the chart at number 12.

On the classical crossover chart, Josh Groban's Closer remained at number one, followed by Andrea Bocelli's Andrea.
