Andrew Lippa, Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice’s 2010 Broadway musical The Addams Family is to receive its U.K and Irish professional premiere, beginning performances at Edinburgh’s Festival Theatre April 20 2017.
Co-produced by United Theatrical, Aria Entertainment and Music & Lyrics Limited in association with the Festival Theatre Edinburgh it will then tour to Northampton, Canterbury, Southend, Birmignham, Truro, Nottingham, Bradford, Southampton, Cardiff, Dublin and Salford, with further dates to be announced..
It will be helmed by Matthew White, who directed the Olivier winning Top Hat in the West End, and has also been newly announced to direct She Loves Me at the Menier Chocolate Factory, where his previous credits include Little Shop of Horrors, Candide and Sweet Charity.
