News "The After Party" Welcomes Grease's Wyatt Nov. 2 "The After Party," billed as "an informal social gathering for the theatrically inclined," will welcome Grease's Kirsten Wyatt and Her Song's Gabrielle Stravelli Nov. 2.

Both Wyatt and Stravelli will be on hand to greet fans and perform a few numbers at the free weekly event.

Hosted by Brandon Cutrell and Alysha Umphress, "The After Party" at the Laurie Beechman Theatre features Ray Fellman at the piano. Cabaret favorite Lisa Asher is also part of the "Party" mix, where amateurs and professionals are invited to take turns at the open mic. The "Party" begins at 10:30 PM and continues to 2 AM.

Kirsten Wyatt is currently playing Frenchie in the Broadway revival of Grease. She has also been seen on Broadway in You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown; Urinetown; and High Fidelity. Wyatt was part of the national tours of Urinetown and The Boy Friend and was seen in regional productions of Peter Pan and Les Misérables.

Gabrielle Stravelli created the role of Anique in the world premiere of Ace. She has also performed in clubs and concert halls throughout the country; her latest show, which she premiered at Birdland, is titled Her Song.

The Laurie Beechman Theatre is located within the West Bank Cafe at 407 West 42nd Street. There is no cover charge or minimum for "The After Party."
