News The Apprentice May Be Heading to Broadway The hit Donald Trump television series, "The Apprentice," may be headed to Broadway.

Mark Burnett, who co-produces the NBC series with Donald Trump, told the Hollywood Reporter that he is currently writing the book for The Apprentice: The Musical. According to the industry paper, several songs have already been written for the musical. No other details about the project have been announced. "The Apprentice" debuted on NBC in January 2004. The reality series is a boardroom drama that seeks to find one candidate to work for the Trump Organization. Week after week contestants face intense tasks, and Trump closes each program by telling one of the contestants, "You're fired!"
