Allison Janney, Elizabeth Franz and Jessica Hecht star in Autumn Garden.

Janney co-stars with Tony Award winners Elizabeth Franz and Maryann Plunkett as well as Jessica Hecht, John Benjamin Hickey and Mamie Gummer as well as Rufus Collins, Brian Kerwin, Cynthia Mace, Rama C. Marshall, Eric Murdoch and Brooke Parks. Lillian Hellman's The Autumn Garden, according to press notes, is "set in a summer resort on the Gulf of Mexico in 1949 [and] follows seven friends confronting middle age, assessing the choices they have made and the lives they have led and clinging to the hope that they will once more be at peace. The Autumn Garden is searing, savagely funny proof that there is really no revolt against the past, and offers perhaps Hellman's most perceptive comment on the difficulties of 'the great art of living together.'"

David Jones directs with a creative team that includes set designer Thomas Lynch, costume designer Ilona Somogyi, lighting designer David Weiner and sound designer John Gromada.

The Autumn Garden runs through Aug. 26, with an added matinee on Aug. 22, at '62 Center for Theatre and Dance of Williams College, located at 1000 Main Street (Route 2) in Williamstown, MA.

Tickets are available by logging on to wtfestival.org, by calling (413) 597-3400 or by visiting the Festival box office.
