The Smith Center for the Performing Arts has announced its 2019–2020 Broadway Las Vegas Season, which will feature touring productions of several Tony-winning musicals and current Broadway favorites.
The upcoming lineup will kick off July 30 with the return of the Tony-winning The Book of Mormon, which will play Reynolds Hall through August 4.
Next will be Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty’s Anastasia (August 20–25), the long-running blockbuster Wicked (September 11–29), Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s Jesus Christ Superstar (November 5–10), Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical (November 26–December 1), the Jimmy Buffett musical Escape to Margaritaville (January 7–12, 2020), SpongeBob SquarePants (February 4–9), the Tony-winning revival of Once On This Island (March 10–15), and Mean Girls (April 14–19).
The season will conclude with the most recent Tony-winning Best Musical, The Band's Visit, to be presented June 23–28.
