The performance is a benefit for the Abingdon Theatre, which is committed to developing and producing new plays by American playwrights.

The Broadway Church Ladies consist of Leilani Bryant (Church Lady Jarene), Yolanda Wyns (Church Lady Doris) and Teresa Stanley (Church Lady Darlene). I Am Editing a Story Is

Bryant recently appeared in a reading of Madam, a play based on the life of millionaire entrepeneuer Madam C.J. Walker. Wyns' albums include "Many Faces" and "A Live Recording of Praise and Worship," and her vocals have been heard on many European dance hits. Stanley appeared in the recent touring production of Ain't Misbehavin'.
