Rob Becker's Defending the Caveman returns to San Francisco for a Valentine run at the Curran Theatre in February. Presented by Carole Shorenstein Hays and the Nederlanders, Caveman plays at the Curran Feb. 9-14. Caveman originally opened in San Francisco in June 1991. The show then played sold-out runs in Dallas, Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, Chicago and finally on Broadway in 1995, where it ran for a record 702 performances at the Helen Hayes Theatre. Becker's exploration of the gender gap entered the record books as "the longest-running solo play in Broadway history."

Described as a "hilariously insightful play about the ways that men and women struggle to relate," Caveman will run at the Curran Theatre, 445 Geary Street in San Francisco. The limited engagement begins Feb. 9. Tickets are $34.50-$49.50 and are available through Ticketmaster at (415) 512-7770. For information call (415) 551-2000 or visit bestofbroadway-sf.com.
