News The Devil and Billy Markham to Play the D-Lounge Shel Silverstein's The Devil and Billy Markham will play a limited engagement at the D-Lounge beginning March 9.

Directed by Thomas Cote, the production will play Fridays and Saturdays at 8 PM through April 14. Brit Herring stars.

The Devil and Billy Markham, according to press notes, "tells the story of Billy Markham, an unforgettable character who never met a bet he didn’t take, including that of his very own soul. Billy journeys from Nashville's Music Row down into the fiery pits of hell and back again as he matches wits with God, the Devil and everyone in between."

Algonquin Theater Productions is presenting the limited run.

Brit Herring has been seen on the New York stage in Catching Hell, Crimes of the Heart, Roman Nights and Whoppers. Herring has also been seen on screen in "Turbo Charged: The Story of the Cars."
