Jessica Hecht, Marin Hinkle and Alicia Goranson will star in Janusz Glowacki's The Fourth Sister, beginning performances at the Vineyard Theatre Oct. 31. Lisa Peterson directs.
Before one starts finding the plot of Fourth Sister too Three Sisters, Glowacki has made his yearning girls the products of post-Communist Russia and their dreams are of freedom - Hollywood style. Glowacki is the author of Antigone in New York and Hunting Cockroaches.
Hecht starred as Layla in Broadway's Last Night of Ballyhoo and in Off-Broadway's Stop Kiss and Lobster Alice. Hinkle, whose Broadway credits include The Tempest, Electra and A Thousand Clowns, was most recently featured on TV's "Once and Again." Goranson, a vet of TV's "Roseanne," also appeared in the films "How to Make an American Quilt" and "Boys Don't Cry."
