Tennessee Williams' first play, The Glass Menagerie (La Menagerie de Verre), is currently being revived under the direction of Michel Fagadau at the Studio des Champs Elysees.

Romanian-born Fagadau has worked extensively in France, directing among others A Cat On A Hot Tin Roof, Joe Egg, Educating Rita and The Madwoman of Chaillot. Fagadau has also directed plays in Bucarest, London and Brussels.

Leading the cast of this production is film and theatre star Marie-Christine Barrault who recently starred in the successful revival of Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf ?. Her co-stars are Sylvie Audcoeur, Francois Feroleto and heart-throb Yannick Debain who recently starred in a sitcom series aimed at teenage audiences.
