Actor's Gang artistic director and film star Tim Robbins will take The Guys to Los Angeles with Academy Award winner Helen Hunt as his co-star. The September 11th play, written by journalist Anne Nelson, will play The Actor's Gang July 10-28.

Robbins, veteran of such films as "Bull Durham," "The Shawshank Redemption" and "The Player," first took the role of a New York City fire captain who has lost most of his men in the September 11th attacks on the World Trade Center at New York City's Flea Theatre in May, where he performed opposite his partner, Susan Sarandon. Hunt ("As Good As It Gets," "Mad About You") plays an editor helping the fire chief write the eulogies for his men.

Jim Simpson, who directed the original Guys at the Flea, will helm the Los Angeles production. A two-time Obie winner, he is currently working on a film version of The Guys starring Anthony LaPaglia and his wife, Sigorney Weaver.

Tickets to The Guys are $40 (all Wednesday performances are Pay What You Can with $15 tickets every night for firefighters). The Actors' Gang is located at 6209 Santa Monica Boulevard in Hollywood. For reservations, call (323) 465-0566.
