Wilton's Music Hall, the East London theatre that has seen a variety of plays and staged readings of poetry over the last few years, is the venue for a new play, The Inland Sea, in April.

Produced by the Oxford Stage Company, written by American playwright Naomi Wallace, directed by Dominic Dromgoole and designed by Robert Innes Hopkins, The Inland Sea is set in the 1760's and deals with a massive landscape gardening project that goes wrong.

Wallace's previous plays include Slaughter City for the Royal Shakespeare Company and Birdy in the West End.

The cast includes Jo McInnes, James Lance, Alan Williams, Kate Duchene, Holly Scourfield, Michael Gould, Tricia Kelly, William Mannering, Jay Simpson and Peter Bourke.

The Inland Sea will run from April 3 to April 28.
