News The Mint Theatre and National Asian-American Theatre's Ivanov to Close Early The Mint Theatre Company's presentation of The National Asian American Theatre Company production of Anton Chekhov’s Ivanov will close on Aug. 28, a week earlier than expected.

The show, which began on Aug. 2, is shuttering due to the loss of one of its actors. The work, adapted from a translation by Paul Schmidt, is directed by Mint artistic director Jonathan Bank. The cast features Arthur Acuna, Michi Barall, Joel de la Fuente, Mel Duane Gionson, Keiko Green, Deepti Gupta, Mia Katigbak, C.S. Lee, Orville Mendoza, Thom Sesma, Rochele Tillman and Virginia Wing.

The creative team includes set design by Sarah Lambert, costume design by Elly van Horne, lighting design by Stephen Petrilli and sound design by Jane Shaw.
