News "The Normal Heart" Actor Finn Wittrock to Lead "My All American" Film Stage and screen actor Finn Wittrock will join Aaron Eckhart in the new football film "My All American," about the University of Texas Longhorns, according to Deadline.com.

Wittrock, who appears in the upcoming HBO film adaptation of Larry Kramer's The Normal Heart, will portray football player Freddie Steinmark, whose career ended following a cancer diagnosis that resulted in the loss of his leg. Eckhart is cast as Longhorns coach Darrell Royal, who developed a bond with Steinmark.

"My All American" is written and directed by Angelo Pizzo.

The film is produced by Paul Schiff, with Michael Beugg as executive producer. Bud Brigham is financing the film that will shoot on location in Austin, TX, next month.
