News   The Olsen Twins Haunt the Stage in Mallery Avidon's New Play
Celebrity siblings the Olsen Twins are the subject of Mallery Avidon's Mary-Kate Olsen is In Love, which is now playing Washington D.C.'s Studio Theatre. The play's central character, Grace, is haunted by the twins in a recurring dream as she struggles with modern-day expectations and a failing relationship.

The show played Off-Broadway at the Flea Theatre in Tribeca in 2013 and is now playing the Studio Theatre through June 21, directed by Holly Twyford.

The cast features Katie Ryan as Grace, Sara Dabney Tisdale as Ashley Olsen and Suzanne Stanley as Mary-Kate. Joining them are Daniel Corey, Christian R. Gibbs, Erin Craig, Kayla Dixon, Kaycie Goral, Tuyet Gunter and Mariana Taitano.

Mary-Kate Olsen is In Love features set design by Paige Hathaway, lighting design by Adrian Rooney, costume design by Kara Waala and sound design by James Bigbee Garver.

Playwright Avidon is no stranger to introducing celebrity characters in her work; her earlier play queerSpawn, which also played Off-Broadway in 2013, featured Brad Pitt and sex columnist Dan Savage as characters.
