News THE SCREENING ROOM: Alice Ripley Releases "Beautiful Eyes"; Tony Winner Will Play Metropolitan Room (Video) Tony Award winner Alice Ripley, who was last seen Off-Broadway in Wild Animals You Should Know, has released a new music video entitled "Beautiful Eyes."

"When I chose 'Beautiful Eyes' as [the] first digital single, it was with the audience's economic and musical satisfaction in mind," Ripley said in a statement. The video, shot around town in NYC, was directed by John Carucci.

Ripley has also announced an upcoming concert at New York City's Metropolitan Room, which is set for May 27. Alice Ripley's Daily Practice will begin at 7 PM and feature Ripley on vocals and guitar along with special guests.

The Tony winner will be backed by her band, RIPLEY, which features Lauren Molina on cello and vocals, and Nick Cearley on noisemakers and vocals.

Ripley, who won a Tony for her performance in Next to Normal, has also appeared on stage in Side Show, The Rocky Horror Show, James Joyce's The Dead, Sunset Boulevard and The Who's Tommy.
