News THE SCREENING ROOM: Celebrating the Chicago Revival (Video) The acclaimed revival of Kander and Ebb's Chicago opened to critical raves Nov. 14 at the Richard Rodgers Theatre in 1996, after a celebrated run at City Center Encores! It now plays the Ambassador Theatre.

Walter Bobbie's stripped-down staging, utilizing Bob Fosse-inspired choreography by Ann Reinking, became the new model for Chicago, which has now been seen across the globe and in a hit film adaptation.
