News THE SCREENING ROOM: Celebrating Titanic; Laura Osnes, Antonio Banderas, Brian d'Arcy James and More Sing Work of Maury Yeston (Video) Titanic, the Tony Award-winning Best Musical featuring a score by Maury Yeston, played its final Broadway performance March 28, 1999. Here, we look at the work of Yeston, including clips from Titanic, Nine and more.

Yeston won the Tony Award in 1982 for the Best Original Score of Nine and again in 1997 for the Best Original Score of Titanic. He was also Tony-nominated for Grand Hotel. He penned the music for Off-Broadway's Death Takes a Holiday as well as the song cycle December Songs.

Titanic was recently staged at Avery Fisher Hall, reuniting much of the original Broadway cast. A revival of the lavishly scored musical will return to New York this fall.
