News THE SCREENING ROOM: Company, Oklahoma!, Barbra Streisand and More Highlight PBS Fall Arts Festival (Video) The seven-week 2013 PBS Arts Fall Festival will premiere Oct. 18 with Great Performances' "40th Anniversary Celebration."

Hosted by Anna Deavere Smith, the festival will also include A Raisin in the Sun Revisited: The Raisin Cycle at Baltimore's Center Stage Oct. 25 and Great Performances Moby-Dick from the San Francisco Opera Nov. 1.

The following weeks will feature Stephen Sondheim's Company with the New York Philharmonic Nov. 8; Rodgers & Hammerstein's Oklahoma! Nov. 15; Nashville 2.0: The Rise of Americana Nov. 22; and "Barbra Streisand: Back to Brooklyn" Nov. 29. 

Here's how Great Performances describes Company: "A concert production of Sondheim's groundbreaking musical about a bachelor's 35th birthday, starring Neil Patrick Harris and an all-star cast including Patti LuPone, Stephen Colbert, Christina Hendricks, Anika Noni Rose, Jon Cryer, Martha Plimpton and more."

"Still doin' fine now 70 years after its Broadway debut, Rodgers & Hammerstein's landmark American musical was reborn in an award-winning 1998 revival by the Royal National Theatre of Great Britain that starred Hugh Jackman, and was filmed for this special that first aired on PBS in 1993," press notes state about Oklahoma!

"Nashville 2.0: The Rise of Americana tracks the endlessly morphing musical genre whose heart is in Nashville but whose reach is worldwide," press notes state. "From Emmylou Harris to Mumford & Sons, Rosanne Cash to The Mavericks, and rising new stars Like Shovels and Rope and The Milk Carton Kids, Nashville 2.0 celebrates America's influential musical melting pot." Here's how Great Performances describes "Barbra Streisand: Back to Brooklyn:" "Superstar Barbra Streisand makes a historic homecoming at the new Barclays Center arena with her first Brooklyn concert. Joined by special guests Il Volo and Chris Botti, Streisand performs an extensive selection of songs from throughout her five-decade career, and duets with son Jason Gould on 'How Deep is the Ocean.' The seemingly endless collection of hits and fan favorites includes 'Nice N Easy,' 'Didn't We,' 'No More Tears (Enough is Enough),' 'Rose's Turn,' 'My Funny Valentine,' 'Some Other Time,' 'Make Our Garden Grow,' along 'Evergreen,' 'The Way We Were,' 'People' and 'Happy Days are Here Again.'"
