News THE SCREENING ROOM: Drew Gasparini's I Could Use a Drink Concert, With Jason Gotay, Julia Mattison, Alex Brightman and More Jason Gotay, Julia Mattison and Alex Brightman were among the performers who took part in composer Drew Gasparini's I Could Use a Drink concert July 29 at Joe's Pub. Here are highlights from the evening.

Directed by Max Friedman, the concert featured Gotay (Bring It On), Preston Sadleir (Next to Normal), Garth Kravits (The Drowsy Chaperone), Lauren Pritchard (Spring Awakening), Mattison (Godspell), Andrew Kober (Hair), Brightman (Big Fish), F. Michael Haynie (Wicked), Blake Daniel (Spring Awakening), Kacie Sheik (Hair), Eric Michael Krop (Godspell), composer-lyricist Alexander Sage Oyen, Ariella Serur, Keith White, Kasie Gasparini and Chloe Gasparini.

The 9:30 PM concert promised "album hits, as well as tunes still hot off the presses" and music from Gasparini's musicals Circles, Make Me Bad (with Alex Brightman) and Crazy, Just Like Me. Videography is by Shoshana Feinstein.
