As previously reported, the plot line of this season of "Glee" will deal directly with the struggles of drug abuse, and the third episode of the season will deal with Finn's death. "Farewell to Finn" will air Oct. 10 at 9 PM ET on Fox.
"Glee" co-creator Ryan Murphy added that the show will not address the cause of Finn's death; rather, the episode is intended to be "a celebration of that character's life."
