In case you missed last week's episode, here are the performances.

"Glee" stars and Broadway performers Darren Criss (How to Succeed…) and Jenna Ushkowitz (Spring Awakening) covered Carly Rae Jepsen's summer hit "Call Me Maybe" on the premiere episode. They were joined by Alex Newell, whose character Unique left Vocal Adrenaline to join the New Directions, and Heather Morris as Brittany. Other songs featured in "The New Rachel" included a mashup of Lady Gaga's "Americano" and Jennifer Lopez's "Dance Again," performed by recurring guest star Kate Hudson, who plays Cassandra, a challenging professor at the fictional New York Academy of Dramatic Arts; Barbra Streisand's version of Billy Joel's "New York State of Mind," performed by Michele (Rachel) and new cast member Melissa Benoist (Marley); Imagine Dragon's "It's Time," performed by Criss (Blaine); and Adele's "Chasing Pavements."
