News THE SCREENING ROOM: Hair's Sasha Allen Knocks Out Judges On "The Voice" (Video) Sasha Allen, who appeared on Broadway in Hair and on screen in the cult movie "Camp," stepped into the national spotlight April 8 as a contestant on the NBC star-making series "The Voice."

Allen took center stage to deliver a soulful rendition of the Dixie Chicks song "Not Ready to Make Nice." Her vocal performance was so compelling that all of the judges turned their chairs around, giving the singer their endorsement.

Allen's performance ended with the four judges in a bidding war to work with her on the series. Ultimately, Allen selected Maroon Five front-man  Adam Levine to serve as her mentor.
