The concerts featured the original work of composer-lyricist Michael Mott. Performers also included Catherine Charlebois (Wicked), Marisa Devetta (Astoria Performing Ats Center's Blood Brothers), Shauna Goodgold (Faustus), Michael Hunsaker (Faustus), Marissa McGowan (A Little Night Music, Bonnie & Clyde) and Jacqueline Petroccia (Lincoln Center's Carousel) with Bronson Norris Murphy, Lindsay Rider and Gavriel Savit.
Described as "an eclectic evening of soaring ballads, quirky comedy numbers and catchy pop tunes," Write Now featured songs from Mott's original musicals Faustus and The Life of A Mob Wife, as well as several stand-alone pop, jazz and swing songs.
Directed by Brandon Ivie (A Christmas Story, First Date) with music direction by Jeff Theiss (Lysistrata Jones), Write Now was produced by Shoshana Feinstein, who also provided videography.
Mott, a student at the BMI Musical Theatre Workshop, made his NYC concert debut with Write Now.
