A 2008 Tony winner for Best Performance by a Featured Actress in a Musical, Benanti is always on the move. Whether she is working on Broadway (Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, Gypsy), television (The Sound of Music Live!,"Go On," "Royal Pains"), City Center Encores! (the upcoming 2014 production of The Most Happy Fella) or recording multiple studio, cast and live performance albums, she never lets up.

The title rap tune was written especially for Playbill by Lin-Manuel Miranda.
