News THE SCREENING ROOM: Laura Osnes, from Sandy to Cinderella (Video) Laura Osnes made her Broadway debut in the 2007 revival of Grease after snagging the role of Sandy on the popular television reality series, "Grease: You're the One That I Want."

Since then, Osnes has proven that she's here to stay, taking center stage in Broadway classics like South Pacific and Anything Goes and belting through Frank Wildhorn's pop musical Bonnie & Clyde.

The young actress, who will play Maria in the Carnegie Hall concert staging of The Sound of Music April 24, is also preparing to star in a new Broadway production of Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella, which will give the classic a fresh twist during the 2012-13 season.
