News THE SCREENING ROOM: Liza Minnelli, Audra McDonald and More Sing "Maybe This Time" The Broadway revival of Cabaret, starring Tony winner Alan Cumming and Michelle Williams in her Broadway debut, opened April 24 at Studio 54.

Directed by Sam Mendes and Rob Marshall, Cabaret follows the story of the American writer Cliff, who encounters nightclub singer Sally Bowles at the Kit Kat Klub in Berlin. Cumming plays the club's seductive emcee.

Cabaret features a book by Joe Masteroff, music by John Kander and lyrics by Fred Ebb. It is based on the play I Am a Camera, by John Van Druten, and stories by Christopher Isherwood. It features the songs "Don't Tell Mama," "Tomorrow Belongs to Me" and "Maybe This Time."
