Performances from the Tony Award-nominated musicals included "Once and For All" and "Seize the Day" from Newsies; "Rise Up!" from Leap of Faith; "The God-Why-Don't-You-Love-Me Blues" from Follies; "Superstar" from Jesus Christ Superstar; "Gold" from Once; "Someone to Watch Over Me" and "Sweet and Lowdown" from Nice Work If You Can Get It; "And the Money Kept Rolling In (And Out)" from Evita; and a Porgy and Bess medley.

Other performances at the 2012 Tonys included a reappearance from last season's big winner, The Book of Mormon; "Unchained Melody" from Ghost; highlights from this season's plays, including End of the Rainbow, One Man and Peter and the Starcatcher; Corbin Bleu and the cast of Godspell singing from the aisles of the Beacon Theatre; and Oasis of the Seas' cast of Hairspray.
