News THE SCREENING ROOM: Susan Stroman Offers an Inside Look at the Choreography of Big Fish (Video) Tony Award-winning director-choreographer Susan Stroman, who helmed the Broadway musical Big Fish, offers audiences a behind-the-scenes look at the choreography seen in that new musical.

Big Fish, a father-and-son tale based on the 1998 novel by Daniel Wallace and the subsequent 2003 film by John August, officially opened Oct. 6, following previews that began Sept. 5, at the Neil Simon Theatre.

Two-time Tony Award winner Norbert Leo Butz (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Catch Me If You Can) stars as Edward Bloom opposite Tony Award nominee Kate Baldwin (Finian's Rainbow) as Sandra Bloom and Tony Award nominee Bobby Steggert (Ragtime, Off-Broadway's Giant) as Will Bloom.

Stroman is a Tony Award winner for her work on The Producers, Contact, Show Boat and Crazy for You. Read more about her work on Big Fish here.
