News THE SCREENING ROOM: The Original Broadway Production of Side Show (Video) The Kennedy Center and the La Jolla Playhouse announced June 12 that a new, revised production of the Tony Award-nominated Bill Russell-Henry Krieger musical Side Show will return during the 2013-14 season.

The original Broadway production opened in October 1997 at the Richard Rodgers Theatre, with Alice Ripley and Emily Skinner in the roles of conjoined twins, Violet and Daisy Hilton.
