Tony Awards THE SCREENING ROOM: Tony Award-Winning Performances (Video) The 68th Annual Tony Awards are less than two weeks away, so the staff at Playbill.com thought it would be a good time to take a look back at some of our favorite (Tony Award-winning) performances from Tony night. (Hugh Jackman will once again host this year's Tony celebration, which airs June 8 at 8 PM ET on CBS.)

Check out some of our favorite performances from the past few years.

Chita Rivera and Brent Carver earned 1993 Tony Awards for their performances in the Tony Award-winning Kander and Ebb musical Kiss of the Spider Woman.

 Tony Award winners Patti LuPone, Mandy Patinkin and Bob Gunton and the cast of the Tony-winning musical Evita in 1980.

 The cast of Hairspray, including Tony winners Harvey Fierstein, Marissa Jaret Winokur and Dick Latessa, in 2003.

 Hugh Jackman's Tony-winning performance as Peter Allen in The Boy from Oz in 2004.

 George Hearn earned a Tony Award for playing Albin in the 1984 Broadway production of La Cage aux Folles. He wears a tux instead of a gown for this Tony Awards night telecast.

 Bernadette Peters won her first Tony Award for playing British hat-maker Emma in the 1985 Andrew Lloyd Webber musical Song and Dance.

 James Naughton and Randy Graff earned Tony Awards in the Tony-winning film noir-kissed musical City of Angels in 1989.

 Patti LuPone earned her second Tony Award for her fiery performance as Rose in the 2008 revival of Gypsy.

 Norbert Leo Butz earned a 2011 Tony Award for playing Detective Hanratty in Catch Me If You Can.

 Daisy Eagan became the youngest actress to win a Tony Award in 1991, seen here in the Tony Awards performance of The Secret Garden.

 The international hit Les Miserables won the Tony Award for Best Musical in 1987. Original London cast member Frances Ruffelle earned a Tony for her performance as Eponine.

Here's Tony winner Betty Buckley performing a haunting version of her signature tune, "Memory," from the Tony-winning musical Cats.

Who could ever forget Jennifer Holliday and the original cast of Dreamgirls performing "It's All Over/And I'm Telling You I'm Not Going" at the 1982 Tony Awards?

 The cast of the angst-ridden musical Spring Awakening performs at the 2007 Tony Awards:

Sutton Foster took home the Tony Award for her performance in Anything Goes, which was also awarded the 2011 Tony for Best Revival:
