News THE SCREENING ROOM: Tony Winner Hugh Jackman Visits "Theater Talk" (Video) Tony Award winner Hugh Jackman recently visited "Theater Talk" to chat about his solo show Hugh Jackman, Back on Broadway, which will conclude its limited engagement Jan. 1, 2012, at the Broadhurst Theatre.

Jackman talks with co-hosts Michael Riedel and Susan Haskins about Back on Broadway, which officially opened Nov. 10, following previews that began Oct. 25. He also discusses growing up in Australia and his journey to Broadway.

The solo show includes an 18-piece orchestra and features the stage and screen star performing a personal selection of his favorite musical numbers that reflect on his life and career.

Jackman won a Tony Award for his work in the Broadway musical The Boy From Oz. He has also been seen on Broadway in A Steady Rain and is known for his film roles in the "X-Men" trilogy, "Someone Like You," "Swordfish," "Kate and Leopold," "Van Helsing," "The Fountain" and "Happy Feet" (in voice). The performer will also be seen in the upcoming film version of Les Miserables.
