Written by Eagan and directed by Drew Droege with musical direction by Brandon James Gwinn, the production will play the Society Cabaret through March 29. The tour will also include stops in Los Angeles, CA, and New York, playing at 54 Below May 4.
Here's how the production is billed: "What happens when a brash, cynical, inappropriate former child star finds out she's pregnant with a kid she never planned on? She becomes a brash, cynical, inappropriate mother. Tony Award winner, Daisy Eagan, uses edgy humor and some of her favorite songs to tell the story of going from Broadway Baby to Hollywood Mama. (Adult content. May not be appropriate for children or the faint of heart.)"
Eagan made her Broadway debut in Les Misérables, playing Young Cosette, Young Eponine and Gavroche, before her Tony Award-winning turn as Mary Lennox in The Secret Garden. She has also performed in James Joyce's The Dead. Her film work includes "Losing Isaiah" and "Tony 'n' Tina's Wedding."
The production team includes Benjamin Viele and Alexander Rodriguez with Sa Sa Productions.
