The Sensuality Party Finds Its Cast | Playbill

News The Sensuality Party Finds Its Cast The New Group production will perform at college campuses across all five boroughs of New York City.

Off-Broadway’s The New Group has announced the complete cast for The Sensuality Party, a new play depicting college life by Justin Kuritzkes that will be presented on campuses throughout New York City.

Directed by Danya Taymor, the production will play 18 performances only.

The Sensuality Party features Catherine Combs (Gloria), Jeff Cuttler (High), Katherine Folk-Sullivan (These Seven Sicknesses ), Jake Horowitz (King Lear, TFANA), Layla Khoshnoudi (Men on Boats) and Rowan Vickers (Bad Jews). The production will have costume design by Beth Goldenberg.

Kuritzkes’ play follows six college students, three women and three men, who reflect on an incident of group sex they shared during their first semester. “What began as a rather casual experiment went suddenly and horribly wrong,” state press notes. “As they internalize and even fetishize this event, they battle their own disaffection and disconnection from the wider world.”

The Sensuality Party will be performed at Brooklyn College, LaGuardia Community College, Gallatin School (New York University), Baruch College, Lehman College, Pace University NYC Campus, Pace University Westchester Campus and the College of Staten Island. Performances will run April 25-May 13.
