Fans of the musical are legion, however this adaptation of by the Toho production company, gives Japanese audiences a chance to hear translated versions of the now famous songs.

The cast features Daichi Mao, Furuya Ikko, Yoko Kon and Isao. The stage is by Yamada Kazuya. Book by Howard Lindsay, Russel Crouse.

Matinees are at noon or 1 p.m. and/or evening shows at 5p.m. No shows April13.

The production is being staged at the Nissay Gekijo in Chiyoda Ward, Opposite the Imperial Hotel near Hibiya station. (03) 3591-2333. Tickets are 3,000/ 6,000/12,000 yen. Call (03) 3503-3111 for curtain times.
