Directed by Tony winner Jack O'Brien (The Nance, Hairspray, The Coast of Utopia), Macbeth began previews Oct. 25. Tickets are currently on sale through Jan. 7, 2014.

Hawke ("Before Midnight") stars in the title role opposite Duff as Lady Macbeth. Hawke previously collaborated with director O'Brien on the LCT productions of The Coast of Utopia and Henry IV at the Beaumont.

Hawke recently spoke about his attraction to the role. "A work like this is like Beethoven's Ninth," he said. "It's always the right time to play it." Read the full Playbill.com feature, Tomorrow and Tomorrow: Macbeth Becomes Actors' Go-To Shakespeare.
