News The Verdict: Critics Review John Kander-Greg Pierce Musical The Landing, Starring David Hyde Pierce, Off-Broadway The Vineyard Theatre's production of John Kander and Greg Pierce's The Landing, starring Tony and Emmy winner David Hyde Pierce and Julia Murney, officially opened Oct. 23 Off-Broadway.

The collaboration between Kander (Cabaret, Kiss of the Spider Woman, The Scottsboro Boys) and playwright/lyricist Pierce (Slowgirl) will continue performances through Nov. 24.

The Landing features three mini-musicals tied together by the themes of desire, love and loss.

Directed by Walter Bobbie, the cast also features Paul Anthony Stewart and Frankie Seratch.
