The Broadway revival of Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize-winning Long Day's Journey Into Night, produced by the Roundabout Theatre Company in association with Ryan Murphy, officially opened April 27 following previews that began April 3 at the American Airlines Theatre.

Directed by Jonathan Kent, the production is part of Roundabout's 50th anniversary season.

Two‐time Academy Award winner and three‐time Emmy Award winner Jessica Lange plays Mary Tyrone, following her Olivier Award‐nominated performance in the role on the West End in 2000. She is joined by Tony Award nominee Gabriel Byrne as James Tyrone, Academy Award nominee Michael Shannon as James Tyrone, Jr. and Tony Award winner John Gallagher Jr. as Edmund Tyrone with Colby Minifie as Cathleen.
