The Verdict The Verdict: Read Reviews Of Spamalot At The Hollywood Bowl The Hollywood Bowl's production of Monty Python's Spamalot, the parody of the Arthurian Legend that won the Tony for Best Musical in 2005, was presented July 31-Aug. 2 in Los Angeles.

The cast featured Christian Slater as Sir Galahad, Merle Dandridge as The Lady of the Lake, Warwick Davis as Patsy, Jesse Tyler Ferguson as Sir Robin, Eric Idle as the Historian, Craig Robinson as King Arthur, Kevin Chamberlin as Sir Bedevere, Tom Deckman as Not Dead Fred and Rick Holmes as Sir Lancelot.

Directed by BT McNicholl, the limited engagement had choreography by Scott Taylor. Todd Ellison conducted the famed orchestra.

Monty Python’s Spamalot, according to press notes, "tells the legendary tale of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table and their quest for the Holy Grail. The show features lusty maidens, dancing divas, a killer rabbit and a legless knight."
