LAST CHANCE→ After nearly a decade, the interactive show/party The Awesome 80s Prom will dance its last dance in NYC. The Prom has become a hotspot for birthdays, Sweet Sixteen celebrations and bachelorette parties. GO→ Fantasia Barrino, Tony winner Adriane Lenox and Dule Hill star in the swingin' new revue After Midnight. Director-choreographer Warren Carlyle, Jazz at Lincoln Center head Wynton Marsalis and fashion duo Isabel and Ruben Toledo lovingly update the sounds and look of the Harlem renaissance epicenter — the famed Cotton Club. Following Barrino's stint in the tuner, the show will shuffle in star attractions like k.d. lang (Feb. 11-March 9) and Toni Braxton with "Babyface" (March 18-30). OPENING→ Pulitzer Prize-winning Clybourne Park author Bruce Norris' newest button-pushing show Domesticated officially opens at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theatre. Laurie Metcalf and Jeff Goldblum star in this Lincoln Center Theatre commission about a couple consumed by a political sex scandal. Directed by August: Osage County's Tony-winning director Anna D. OPENING→ Boogie on down to Disaster!, a new musical comedy homage to disco music and 70s disaster films. Songs like "Hot Stuff," "Don't Bring Me Down," "I Am Woman," "Alone Again (Naturally)," "Signed, Sealed, Delivered," "Knock on Wood," and "Daybreak" are strung together by Playbill's own Seth Rudetsky and Jack Plotnick to tell the story of a floating disco under attack by killer bees, tidal waves and general tomfoolery! PREVIEWS→ Tony winner Ruben Santiago-Hudson stars as August Wilson in the Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright's autobiographical show How I Learned What I Learned. Turns out this is not a misnomer: We learn quite a lot about the formative years of the man who would later bring us landmark plays like Fences, Joe Turner's Come and Gone, Ma Rainey's Black Bottom and The Piano Lesson. OPENING→ The hit murder mystery comedy caper Murder for Two gets a new life at New World Stages.
