News "Theater Talk" Chats With New York Theatre Reviewer Sept. 2 The Sept. 2 broadcast of "Theater Talk," the PBS chat show that features interviews with top theatre writers and performers, will spotlight the career of New York theatre journalist Clive Barnes.

Barnes, who has reviewed for The New York Times and, currently, the New York Post, will discuss his lengthy career. Born May 13, 1927, Clive Barnes started as a dance critic at the London Times and then joined the New York Times as dance critic in 1965. From 1967-77, he served as chief theatre critic for the NY Times. Barnes has been writing for the New York Post since 1977.

Hosted by New York Post theatre columnist Michael Riedel and producer Susan Haskins, "Theater Talk" airs late Friday nights at 12:30 AM on WNET/Thirteen. The program will also air Sept. 5 at 5 AM ET.
