News "Theater Talk" Features Simonson Book, Riedel-Leveaux Flap and Finian's Rainbow A new book, a great revival, a farewell to a friend and an infamous theatre tussle will be part of the June 18 broadcast of "Theater Talk," the PBS chat show that offers interviews with top theatre celebrities and writers.

Playbill On-Line senior editor Robert Simonson will be on hand to discuss his new book, "On Broadway Men Still Wear Hats," which profiles 17 non-performing, theatre-related personalities, including writers Harry Haun and Louis Botto and restaurateur Angus McIndoe. McIndoe will appear alongside Simonson. McIndoe will also reveal publicly for the first time his take on the now-famed argument between Fiddler on the Roof director David Leveaux and theatre writer/host Michael Riedel.

The broadcast will spotlight the new production of Finian's Rainbow now playing the Irish Repertory Theatre. Director Charlotte Moore and actor Jonathan Freeman will be part of that discussion. The program will conclude with a tribute to the late actor/producer Tony Randall, featuring a brief look back at his 1998 "Theater Talk" appearance.

Hosted by New York Post theatre columnist Riedel and producer Haskins, "Theatre Talk" airs late Friday nights at midnight on WNET/Thirteen.
