News "Theater Talk" to Welcome Parsons, Azenberg and Freydberg in October Academy Award winner Estelle Parsons will be the special guest on the Oct. 17 broadcast of "Theater Talk," the PBS talk show that offers interviews with top theatre practitioners.

Parsons, who is currently starring in the Broadway production of August: Osage County, will share stories from her award-winning career. "Theater Talk" airs on WNET/Thirteen at 1 AM ET (Saturday morning). The program will also be seen on CUNY TV Channel 75 on Oct. 25 at 8:30 PM with encore broadcasts scheduled for Oct. 26 at 12:30 PM and Oct. 27 at 7:30 AM, 1:30 PM and 7:30 PM.

Producers Emanuel Azenberg and James Freydberg will appear on the Oct. 24 broadcast of "Theater Talk," which airs on WNET/Thirteen at 1 AM ET (Saturday morning). The duo will "discuss how Broadway and the theatre world will cope — and even prosper — during the coming economic downturn. How must the industry change if it is going to survive?" CUNY TV will broadcast the 30-minute program Nov. 1 at 8:30 PM, Nov. 2 at 12:30 PM and Nov. 3 at 7:30 AM, 1:30 PM and 7:30 PM.
