News "Theater Talk" Welcomes British Theatre Writers Jan. 2 "Theater Talk," the PBS talk show that offers interviews with top theatre practitioners, celebrates "Brits on Broadway" Jan. 2.

The broadcast of the half-hour program will feature columnist Baz Bamigboye of London's Daily Mail and critic Charles Spencer of The Daily Telegraph of London. Bamigboye and Spencer will review the theatre productions they attended during their visit to New York, including Billy Elliot, Speed-the-Plow, Farragut North and Shrek the Musical.

The two writers will also discuss the London theatre scene.

This episode of "Theater Talk" debuts Jan. 2, 2009 at 1 AM ET (Saturday morning) and will be rebroadcast on CUNY TV, Channel 75 Jan. 3 at 8:30 PM, Jan. 4 at 12:30 PM and Jan. 5 at 7:30 AM and 1:30 and 7:30 PM.
