"For the Record: Inside Cast Albums" will feature Sh-K-Boom/Ghostlight Records president Deutsch (Next to Normal, In the Heights), long-time Sondheim cast album producer Shepard (Company, Sweeney Todd), Decca Broadway vice president Brian Drutman (Spring Awakening, Wicked) and Rodgers and Hammerstein Organization president Ted Chapin (Allegro). Melissa Rose Bernardo will moderate the discussion, which explores the process of recording musicals, the legacy they preserve and how technology and financing have impacted the modern-day cast recording.

The American Theatre Wing's "For the Record: Inside Cast Albums" program will air April 26 at 5 PM with additional airings on May 1, 2 and 3 on CUNY TV. On April 29 the program will be available for download by visiting AmericanTheatreWing.
