Theatre West has announced the cast for Sins and Ages: Four Wilder One-Acts running through Oct. 3 at its W. L.A. location. Director F.J. O'Neil has selected the following actors: Jeanne Bates, Tony Battelle, Jodi Fisher, Jason Galloway, Geraldine Hughes, Rebecca Lane, Ursula Martin, Molly Reynolds, Jay Sefton, Sara Shearer, Steppie Smith, Ty Stoller, Richard Tatum and Seemah Wilder.

The plays comprising the bill are A Ringing of Doorbells, In Shakespeare and The Bible, Youth and The Rivers Under the Earth. The works are from a Wilder cycle "The Seven Deadly Sins" and from an intended cycle "The Seven Ages of Man."

O'Neil first met Wilder in 1950, when the former was an undergraduate and the latter a Harvard professor. They became and remained friends until Wilder's death 25 years later. In 1995, O'Neil discovered the manuscripts which comprise the four plays in Sins and Ages. As an actor O'Neil appeared in Jose Quintero's production of Wilder's The Skin of Our Teeth.
