News TheatreWorks to Develop Productions by Paul Gordon, Kara Manning and Curtis Moore at New Works Fest TheatreWorks will develop the Paul Gordon-Jay Gruska musical adaptation of The Importance of Being Earnest, as well as Kara Manning's play Sleeping Rough and the new Will Aronson-Daniel Maté musical comedy The Trouble With Doug as part of the 11th annual New Works Festival in Palo Alto, CA.

Running Aug. 5-19 at the Lucie Stern Theatre, the festival will include one developmental staging of a new musical in progress (The Trouble With Doug), as well as two play readings (Sleeping Rough/The Loudest Man on Earth) and two musical readings (Being Earnest/Triangle).
